State, County and City Effective Government-Led Parenting Initiatives

As was learned in the section on a Federal Government Effective Parenting Initiative, there now exists a model or blueprint for how elected government officials can become champions of effective parenting and parenting education throughout the United States.

The blueprint, developed by Dr. Kerby T. Alvy from the Center for the Improvement of Child Caring, indicates the type of government structures that would need to be created.

This includes a top level structure like a Department of Effective Parenting, and related clearinghouses, parenting instructor training centers, and research institutes.
